Улучшение качества диагностики и раннее начало лечения злокачественных новообразований привело к уменьшению показателя смертности от них. Однако токсичность, связанная с применением химиотерапии, способна вызвать поздние и долгосрочные побочные эффекты, одним из которых является бесплодие. На данный момент недостаточно изучены механизмы повреждения, вызванные токсическим действием препаратов, предназначенных для лечения гемобластозов.</p></sec><sec><title>Ц е л ь</title><p>Ц е л ь. Изучить морфофункциональное состояние эндокринного аппарата семенников крыс после введения химиопрепаратов.</p><p>М а т е р и а л ы и м е т о д ы. Проведено исследование по типу «случай-контроль» на 50 крысах линии Wistar в возрасте 3 мес массой 270–300 г. Группу контроля (n = 10) составили крысы, не получавшие препараты для лечения гемобластозов, опытную группу (n = 40) – крысы, которым внутрибрюшинно вводили циклофосфамид, гидроксидаунорубицин, онковинкристин, преднизолон (схема СНОР). Всем крысам определяли уровень тестостерона и лютеинизирующего гормона на иммуноферментном анализаторе. Измеряли массу и рассчитывали массовый индекс семенников крыс, проводили морфометрию клеток Лейдига.</p></sec><sec><title>Р е з у л ь т а т ы</title><p>Р е з у л ь т а т ы. После двухкратного введения препаратов группы СНОР на 14-е сутки у крыс опытной группы отмечалось снижение массы и массового индекса семенников. Результаты морфометрии свидетельствовали об уменьшении количества эндокриноцитов, количества клеток Лейдига средних и больших размеров и увеличении количества малых форм этих клеток. Концентрация тестостерона в плазме крови снижалась. К 35-м суткам исследованные показатели у крыс опытной группы соответствовали контролю.</p></sec><sec><title>З а к л ю ч е н и е</title><p>З а к л ю ч е н и е. Двухкратное применение противоопухолевых препаратов комплекса CHOP (7-е и 14-е сутки) у крыс сопровождалось снижением массы семенников, дистрофическими и атрофическими изменениями в интерстициальных островках, клетках Лейдига, уменьшением концентрации тестостерона в плазме крови. К 35-м суткам эксперимента развивались компенсаторно-приспособительные реакции, характеризующиеся восстановлением массы семенников, увеличением средних и больших форм эндокриноцитов и уровня тестостерона в плазме крови.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>I n t r o d u c t i o n</title><p>I n t r o d u c t i o n. Improvements in the quality of diagnosis and early treatment of malignant neoplasms have led to a decrease in the mortality rate. However, chemotherapy-induced toxicity can cause late and long-term side eﬀects, one of which is infertility. At the moment, the mechanisms of damage caused by the toxic eﬀect of drugs designated for the treatment of hematologic malignancies have not been suﬃciently studied.</p></sec><sec><title>A i m</title><p>A i m. To study the morphofunctional state of the endocrine apparatus of rat testicles after the administration of chemotherapeutic agents.</p><p>M a t e r i a l s a n d m e t h o d s. A case-control study on 50 Wistar rats aged 3 months weighing 270–300 g was performed. The control group (n = 10) consisted of rats which did not receive drugs for the treatment of hematologic malignancies, the experimental group (n = 40) comprised rats which were intraperitoneally administered cyclophosphamide, hydroxydaunorubicin, vincristine, prednisolone (СНОР regimen). Testosterone and luteinizing hormone levels in rats were measured by enzyme immunoassay. The weight of rat testicles was measured, and the testicular mass index was calculated, as well as morphometry of Leydig cells was performed.</p></sec><sec><title>R e s u l t s</title><p>R e s u l t s. After a twofold administration of chemotherapeutic drugs (СНОР regimen), on the 14th day, the rats of the experimental group showed a decrease in the weight and mass index of the testicles. Results of morphometry indicated a decrease in the number of endocrine cells, number of medium- and large-size Leydig cells, and an increase in the number of small forms of these cells. Concentration of testosterone in blood plasma decreased. By the 35th day, the studied parameters in the rats of the experimental group corresponded to the controls.</p></sec><sec><title>C o n c l u s i o n</title><p>C o n c l u s i o n. A twofold administration of chemotherapeutic drugs (СНОР regimen) on 7th and 14th days in rats was accompanied by a decrease in testicular weight, degenerative and atrophic changes in islets of interstitial (Leydig) cells, and a decrease in testosterone concentration in blood plasma.
