<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Stroke occupies leading positions among the causes of disability and mortality. Prediction of functional outcomes of stroke has the potential to improve the efficiency of patient management, optimize strategies for providing medical care and rehabilitation measures, taking into account the rationalization of resource use. To date, there are no tools for rapid and comprehensive assessment of the prognosis for a physician to make a timely decision on choosing the most appropriate and promising management tactics for each patient, which requires systematization of known data on predicting stroke outcomes for the possibility of further optimization of this process.
