Опухоли яичников (ОЯ) являются ведущей причиной смертности при гинекологическом раке.</p></sec><sec><title>Ц е л ь</title><p>Ц е л ь . Изучение эпидемиологических, гистологических и иммуногистохимических особенностей ОЯ на севере Центрального региона Алжира.</p><p>М а т е р и а л ы   и   м е т о д ы . Был проведен эпидемиологический и патологоморфологический анализ случаев ОЯ, диагностированных в течение 32 мес – с января 2018 г. по август 2020 г. в г. Алжире (Алжир). Все случаи были подтверждены в ходе гистологического исследования, которое проводили в отделении патологической анатомии и цитологии больницы им. Хусейна Дея. Всего было зарегистрировано 110 случаев ОЯ, однако 26 случаев (23.63 %), представленных функциональными кистами, и 7 случаев (6.36 %) пограничных эпителиальных опухолей были исключены из исследования, поскольку анализировались только диагностически однозначные ОЯ (злокачественные или доброкачественные). Изучали эпидемиологические данные: возраст пациенток, распределение опухолей по годам исследования; устанавливали гистологические особенности, локализацию опухолей, проводили их макроскопическую оценку.</p></sec><sec><title>Р е з у л ь т а т ы</title><p>Р е з у л ь т а т ы .  Средний возраст пациенток с ОЯ составил 39.99 года (диапазон: 16–88 лет). Чаще всего ОЯ выявлялись в группе женщин 15–30 лет (29 случаев). Среди всех ОЯ 79 % были доброкачественными. Эпителиальные опухоли были самыми распространенными – 69 % случаев. Среди доброкачественных эпителиальных опухолей большую часть составляли серозные цистаденомы (70.45 %). В структуре злокачественных опухолей преобладали цистаденокарциномы – 80 %. Среди герминогенных опухолей наиболее распространенной была зрелая тератома (85.71 %). Среди опухолей из стромы полового тяжа доминировала фибротекома (55.55 %) – опухоли этого типа чаще развивались в группе женщин 46–60 лет.</p></sec><sec><title>З а к л ю ч е н и е</title><p>З а к л ю ч е н и е .  Авторы полагают, что более широкое изучение ОЯ с привлечением различных структур здравоохранения и расширением числа оцениваемых критериев будет способствовать лучшему пониманию механизмов развития данной патологии и, следовательно, определению наиболее эффективных стратегий лечения.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>I n t r o d u c t i o n</title><p>I n t r o d u c t i o n . Ovarian tumors (OT) are the leading cause of death from gynecological cancer.</p></sec><sec><title>A i m</title><p>A i m .   Studying of epidemiological, histopathological, and immunohistochemical profile of OT in the North-Central region of Algeria.</p><p>M a t e r i a l s   a n d   m e t h o d s .  An epidemiological and histopathological analysis of OT that were diagnosed over a period of 32 months from January 2018 to August 2020 in Algiers was carried out. It grouped all the histologically confirmed cases in the Pathological Anatomy and Cytology Department of the Hussein Dey Hospital during the study period. Through this work, we collected 110 cases of OT. Among this total, 26 cases (23.63%) were represented by functional cysts and 7 cases (6.36%) by borderline epithelial tumors excluded from our work. Only OT (benign and malignant) were studied. On the epidemiological level, we were interested in the age factors and distribution by year of study, and on the anatomopathological level, we dealt with the topography, macroscopic and histological aspects of these tumors.</p></sec><sec><title>R e s u l t s</title><p>R e s u l t s .  An average age of the patients with OT was 39.99 years, with extremes of 16 years and 88 years, and the most aﬀected age was that of 15–30 years with 29 cases. Both ovaries were aﬀected in 4.47% of cases. The study revealed that 79% of OT were benign, and epithelial tumors were more frequent (69% of cases). In this type, serous cystadenoma was most common among benign epithelial tumors (70.45%), and cystadenocarcinoma was most dominant among malignant epithelial tumors (80%). Mature teratoma represented 85.71% of germ cell tumors in our series, and fibrothecoma represented 55.55% of sex cord-stromal tumors cases.
