CONTRIBUTION OF NOVOSIBIRSK MEDICAL INSTITUTE TO THE VICTORY IN THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR 1941-1945

Abstract

Article is coincided with for the 70^th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and devoted to contribution of Novosibirsk state medical institute to a general victory. The main objectives of NSMI in the conditions of a wartime were fast preparation of medical personnel for the front and the rearward and retraining of doctors, practical nurses and paramedical personnel for the needs of the wartime. Employees and teachers of NSMI were actively involved in the organization of work of evacuation hospitals in the city and in the area and conducting medical and advisory work. Advising in the evacuation hospitals, teachers conducted scientific supervision, revealed regularities of progress of diseases, opened new methods of treatment of wounds, developed scientific recommendations about effective treatment of wounded and introduction of invention in health care practice.
