USAGE OF POP-Q SYSTEM IN ASSESSMENT OF STATE OF PATIENTS BEFORE AND AFTER CORRECTIONS OF PELVIC PROLAPSE

Abstract

The system of quantitative assessment of pelvic prolapse (POP-Q) represents objective method of assessment of state of patients before expeditious correction of pelvic prolapse. Possibilities of this method are shown on the example of big selection of such patients and long terms of postoperative observation. Simplicity of performance, low cost and the uniform principles of usage allow to recommend POP-Q system as the standardized approach to assessment of state of patients with pelvic prolapse.
