ROLE OF CYTOMEGALOVIRUS INFECTIONS IN DEVELOPMENT OF CHRONIC SECONDARY PYELONEPHRITIS AT CHILDREN OF EARLY AGE

Abstract

Curation of children with pyelonephritis against pyeloectasia remaining during the 1^styear of life demanded studying of the reasons and states of emergence and preservation of the sizes of dilatation of pyelocaliceal system of kidneys and, as a result, developing of pyelonephritis at early age. In the work results of clinical inspection of 148 families including ones with children with pyelonephritis against congenital resistant pyeloectasia - 73 children (the main group) for 3 years are generalized. During the 1^styear of life at 94,7 % of children of the main group the sizes of renal pelvis didn’t decrease and averaged 8,5 mm that practically corresponded to number of the children who were allocating an anti-gene of cytomegalovirus (90,8 %) in the neonatal period and who had various clinical manifestations of infectious process. It is possible to assume that existence of infectious process promoted preservation of the expanded sizes of pelvis, and to consider pyeloectasia at such children as secondary anomaly of development against pre-natal cytomegalovirus infection.
