EPIDEMIOLOGICAL FEATURES OF HERPES VIRUS INFECTION: LONG-TERM TENDENCIES

Abstract

The objective of research is to study epidemiological features of a herpes virus infection (HVI-2) among the population of the city of Novosibirsk. Data of official statistics of a case rate of genital herpes from 2003 to 2014 (SBHE NR «Novosibirsk regional dermatovenerologic dispensary») were analysed. Conclusions. Indicators of official statistics in Novosibirsk testify to a stable epidemiological situation on a case rate of a genital herpes. An average value of a case rate is 8,6 cases on 100 thousand population. The highest incidence becomes perceptible at the age of 20-29 years during the autumn and winter period. Among patients with genital herpes prevail female persons (63%).
