CHANGE OF MAINTENANCE OF TOCOPHEROLS IN GRAINS OF THE WHEAT AT THE INITIAL STAGE OF ONTOGENESIS

Abstract

Research of change of vitamin E content in wheat grains in the course of their sprouting is conducted. The technique of quantitative determination of tocopherols content value in vegetable raw materials on absorption of UF-radiation with wavelength of 292 nanometers is fulfilled. It is shown that change of maintenance of tocopherol in grains is caused by physiological processes proceeding in initial stage of ontogenesis of plant body and it is established that the maximum content of vitamin E is reached 24 hours later after the beginning of seed sprouting process.
