Classification and diagnostic aspects of thyroid pathology at the present stage (literature review)

Abstract

The development of modern thyroidology involves the emergence of new terms, diagnostic criteria, classifications, and clinical guidelines for the treatment of thyroid diseases. This review considers classifications of tumors and nodules of the thyroid gland and presents their frequency and diagnostic characteristics in childhood.
